(Salamander Order)

SALIENTIA (Frog & Toad Order)

  • Common (Fowler's) Toad Bufo fowleri (formerly Bufo woodhousei fowleri)

  • Northern (Eastern) Cricket Frog Acris crepitans crepitans
  • Gray Treefrog Hyla chrysoscelis or H. versicolor (species are indistinguishable except by call or genetic analysis)
  • Green Treefrog Hyla cinerea
  • Northern Spring Peeper Pseudacris crucifer crucifer (formerly Hyla crucifer)
  • Upland Chorus Frog Pseudacris feriarum feriarum (formerly P. triseriata feriarum)
  • Bullfrog Rana catesbeiana (photo above)
  • Green Frog Rana clamitans
  • Pickerel Frog Rana palustris
  • Southern Leopard Frog Rana sphenocephala
