HILTON POND CENTER'S WEBSITE GOES LIVE !

On 2 February, the website for Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History was unveiled on the World Wide Web--just in time for Groundhog Day 2000!

Up in Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow once again, indicating six more weeks of cold weather--NOT good news considering all the storm damage that has already occurred at Hilton Pond this winter.

Hilton Pond Center is a non-profit nature education and research station based in York, South Carolina USA. It is the host organization for Operation RubyThroat: The Hummingbird Project and other research and education ventures in the Carolina Piedmont.

E-mail and server space for the website is graciously donated by Comporium, a full-service Internet Service Provider based in Rock Hill, South Carolina USA.
