As an outreach program, Hilton Pond Center maintains an on-line public mailing list called the "Nature Study Network." The Nature Study Network is designed to bring together people everywhere who are interested in all sorts of natural phenomena, but especially the interconnections among plants, animals, and habitats of the Carolina Piedmont. There's so much to learn about what's happening in the natural world around us, and one of the best ways to learn is to exchange observations and ideas. We hope you'll become an active member of the Nature Study Network, and that what you share and learn will help us all be better stewards of the wonderful world of which we are a part. To subscribe simply send a blank e-mail to NatureNet-subscribe or visit Nature Study Network's Web page. We promise you won't be burdened by useless information--just interesting postings from interesting folks who also appreciate nature. Please include your name and city/state in the signature for EVERY posting to the Nature Study Network. We can't think of any reason why you would subscribe to this kind of list and want to remain anonymous, and knowing your location helps us answer questions more accurately. :-) BILL HILTON JR. P.S. Don't forget to send information about how to join the Nature Study Network to your friends and colleagues and to other nature-related lists or chat groups to which you may be subscribed. |
