Although more than 76,000 birds have been banded since 1982 at Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History, only ten birds banded elsewhere--all finches--have been recaptured and released at the site, as shown by the table and map below. This is a very low number but might be expected because there are so few active banders nearby in the Carolinas.
