THIS WEEK at HILTON POND |
Due to too many grant proposal deadlines and too much out-of-town travel, there is no photo essay for this week. However, there are a lot of Jonquils already in bloom around the old farmstead, so we've included a photo of some; it's one of the few exotic plants we tolerate at Hilton Pond Center because it's non-invasive and undeniably nice to look at when we've got the February blahs. To keep the record straight, we've also included the weekly bird banding totals and a list of recaptures (see below). If you enjoy "This Week at Hilton Pond," please help Support Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History. It's painless, and YOU can make a difference! You may wish to consult our Index of all nature topics covered since February 2000. |
