The Northern Parula (Emberizidae: Parulinae: Parula americana) is a Neotropical migrant wood warbler. Sexes are similar, with markings more pronounced in males (top photo above). Northern Parulas are uncommon at Hilton Pond Center. No nests have been found on-site, but females captured with brood patches in mid-summer imply local breeding.
